Special Events

Miss Molly’s specializes in Bridal and Baby Showers, Birthday Parties for all ages and many other Special Events.  We are the ideal venue being lavishly decorated, known for our outstanding food at a reasonable price, offering outstanding service with our experienced serving staff and having seating capacity with three separate rooms of different sizes giving us the ability to handle groups from small to large.

Below is some important information to help answer some of your questions and help you plan your Special Event at Miss Molly’s Tea Room. Please call (330) 725-6830 or email us to discuss your options and start planning your Special Event!

Affair to Remember & Child’s Affair to Remember

  • A $7.00 per person deposit is required for all Affairs to Remember and Child’s Affairs to Remember. This deposit will go towards the balance of your bill on your reservation date. This deposit becomes non-refundable if you cancel your reservation within 48 hours of your scheduled date.
  • Any reservation for an Affair to Remember or Child’s Affair to Remember requires an advanced reservation of at least 48 hours.

For All Groups of 15 or More

  • For all other meals on the menu, a deposit per person of $3.00 is required to hold your requested date and time (Unless you are ordering the Affair to Remember as listed above). This deposit will go towards the balance of your bill on your reservation date. This deposit becomes non-refundable if your party is canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled date.
  • Please choose one entree and one side salad or soup from the menu to serve your whole group. (For children and special diet restrictions please call to ask about exceptions). Menu choice must be made no later than 2 weeks prior to your scheduled date.
  • If you require two choices for your group we must know how many of each you need ahead of time. You must provide some sort of place card or name tag identifying each guest’s choice.
  • One check will be given to all parties of 15 or more. Separate checks are allowed for groups of less than 15 people.
  • An 18% gratuity is usually added to the bill of any group of 8 people or more, although your server may decide to leave the tip decision up to the customer.
  • There is a $1.50 cutting/serving fee per person for any cake, cupcakes or any other outside food that is brought in to be consumed at Miss Molly’s. We hold the food service license and are liable for all food consumed on premises.
  • Professionally baked & decorated cakes are available to order from Miss Molly’s at a cost of $3.50 per person for groups of 20 or more, with no cutting fee. Any cake order must be made at least 3 weeks prior to your scheduled date. Flavor options are: chocolate, vanilla, marble, strawberry cassata or chocolate cassata. Please call with preference of colors, and wording. (Please note: Cakes are made large enough to ensure that all your guests will have a satisfying serving; therefore, any leftover cake stays at Miss Molly’s.)

Examples of professionally baked & decorated cakes and cupcakes

  • The final guest count is due the Monday before your reservation and this will be the minimum amount you will be responsible for. If you have guests not show for the event you are still responsible to pay for them. Their food will be packaged in carry-out containers for you to take with you.
  • Drinks are not shown on the food menu, but pots of specially blended loose tea, soft drinks, ice tea, coffee, and tea bags ( all with free refills), hot chocolate or chai (no free refills for hot chocolate or chai) are available.
  • Gift tables, cake tables and special seating are available upon request.

Bridal Showers, Baby Showers or other Special Events are usually held on Saturday or Sunday no earlier than 3:00 p.m. This ensures you have plenty of time for visiting, opening gifts, presentations etc. Friday evenings are also available for showers or other parties. Other times may be scheduled at special request. We do our best to have your space available to you ahead of your scheduled time for you to set out favors, place cards, etc. but cannot guarantee early access. For 3:00 p.m. events, because of our normal lunch traffic, lunch guests could be dining close to the space you selected for a short time when your event first starts. Our staff is able to assist with favors or other items in preparation.

Children’s birthday/tea parties held on Saturdays are recommended to start at 10:45am. We allocate an hour and a half for kids’ parties, so please advise your guests to arrive on time. Friday evenings and other times are also available.

Miss Molly’s will open any evening for a group of 25 or more. Events other than those mentioned, such as Wedding Receptions, Special Breakfasts, Surprise Birthday Parties for all ages, Catering Requirements, etc. or exceptions to the above policies should be discussed with us at (330) 725-6830.
